Extended Stay America Suites- Houston - Galleria - Westheimer

The location is top notch and within walking distance to the Galleria Mall. Uptown Plaza is next door with the Famous Grotto- upscale italian dishes with the absolute "best" Peach Bellini. If you walk one block to the left is River Oaks high-end stores such as Tom Ford. The world-class Steak 48 highlights this area. It's one of my favorites. The location of this property is perfect. The professionalism and concern for the guests is put first. I have been a resident for 4 months and wanted to give my sincere appreciation to Lessie. Every 3 months I like to select an employee too thank for their excellent service. Lessie listens to your concerns and responds promptly with the solutions. Always cleaning the lobby with the guest in mind. Great job and thank-you. Check my other reviews for the rest of staff. They all deserve recognition of their dedication especially during this trying time.

The General Manager here is Joshua, we came in looking for a month to month stay as we are house hunting in the area. Joshua was so helpful explaining the different units, costs, the area.. he even then walked us into one of the rooms for us to get an idea of what it would be. The room is very standard with full kitchen, spacious area with working table and tv. He was very humble, advising how old the building is but they do the absolute best to take care of the rooms and keep them clean. He was so personable, I feel like he definitely cares about the guests here for sure. Would recommend to stay here even though I’ve yet to have stayed here myself yet.

OMG what can I say about the stay except I wished I would have picked this before staying at one of the competitors which was horrible. Sal and security were such a pleasant relief after a horrible beginning to my trip. I wished that the second half of my trip was in the same area. I want to praise Salome for being so professional and compassionate at the same time for the mix up which was part of my fault and the third-party fault. When I return, I hope to have the same staff. I just wanted to make sure kudos are given to this company personally and the staff and not be included in their review.

The customer service from all the staff here was excellent! We had booked at a different Extended Stay hotel about half a mile away (Galleria Uptown) but when we arrived they had no clean rooms available, even after we had called that day to confirm our booking and a late time of arrival. The clueless man at that hotel recommended this other Extended Stay hotel and I'm so glad he did! After our long drive and stressful arrival we were greeted by Roscilla who happily assured me we would be looked after, and we were. Salome and Denise were also lovely to talk with, and the manager agreed to price match the deal from the other hotel (even thought they were not obliged to do that) and has refunded me the difference. I am thankful for their friendliness and kindness over our weekend. We would definitely stay there again if visiting Houston. (Plus the room was clean and all we expected!) Do not choose the Galleria Uptown Extended Stay hotel, choose this one instead!

I came here on a fema voucher. The staff the room everything was excellent until the hurricane happened,which none of us could control. EVER SINGLE STAFF MEMBER WAS AWESOME AND HELPED EVERY WAY THEY COULD. My only problem was with the company to be exact. Extended stay America is a million or billion dollar company. It was broadcasted all over the news For almost 3 weeks about the storm and they did nothing to prevent our power from Going Out for 4 days. Or have any generators on stand by JUST IN CASE, like they were saying on the news. Other than that like I said the staff was amazing... the manager Briana I think thts her name lol and miss Charlotte (OVERALL ) , and the short black lady all need raises seriously.

The evening manager, Stephanie is awesome. She was extremely helpful and attentive with the check-in process. Even went above and beyond by providing extra room items that we didn't ask for (i.e. a blanket, kitchen towel and dish soap). This property is clean and roomy. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the bed was not as comfortable as I prefer and the shower curtain was hung too high causing water to puddle on the floor (forcing us to use extra towels to keep the floor dry). There's easy access to the freeway, business districts, shopping, and dining. I'd stay here again.

This hotel has the best customer service oriented staff that I have ever engaged with at any hotel. Very cooperative, friendly, and engaging. I would stay here anytime I would need a room because of the staff, wonderful team! Thanks for your service.

Exceptionally clean! When I first walked into my room, I kept sniffing the air because I absolutely loved either the cleaning supplies or air fresheners that were used to clean it. It was quite a bit bigger than the last room at the Extended Stay over at Greenway Plaza. Reasonable price for a night and the staff has been great as well.
